AN EXTREMELY SCARCE .177 EM-GE 'KRONE' BREAK-BARREL REPEATING AIR-RIFLE, no visible serial number,
circa 1937, with blued 15 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, the breech-block stamped with the 'steamship' trademark with the hull marked 'GERMANY' and fitted with a sliding gravity fed magazine to rear, rising and falling with the opening and closing of the barrel, plain air-chamber marked 'EM-GE ZELLA MEHLIS (THUN)', hardwood half-stock with applied 'EM-GE' medallion to the left side of butt and stamped with retailer's mark 'KNAPPWURST BRAUNSCHWEIG' to underside behind grip, finger-grooved fore-end, strong amount of original finish
