(possibly refreshed), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with removable striker discs, slender toplever engraved 'PATENT', automatic safety with brass 'SAFE' plaque, border engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening and traces of finish, 14 5/8in. stock, weight 6lb. 9oz., in a brass-cornered leather case, the lid outer marked 'ALFRED BEDSON, NEWCASTLE ON TYNE', the case containing two wood handled turnscrews, striker disc key, chamber brush, cartridge remover, cleaning rod with heads and a square glass oil bottle
