circa 1810, with 2 3/4in. turn-off barrels numbered '2' and '3' at the breeches with corresponding numbers on the lock, locking spring bayonet beneath released by pulling back on the trigger-guard, border-engraved brass lock with Tower private proof-marks, engraved 'BALK' to left and 'DONCASTER' over within an oval against a martial trophy background, steel fittings, sliding safety, slab-sided wooden butt stamped '1366'
