A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION TRANTER'S PATENT 4TH MODEL REVOLVER, serial no. 10503T,
circa 1860, with reblued 6in. barrel, reblued solid frame with swinging safe behind the plain five-shot cylinder, gurded trigger with spurred hammer, chequered walnut swept semi saw-handled grip with iron grip-cap and Tranter's patent rammer fixed to the left side of barrel, some light pitting throughout, complete with its period walnut casing partially relined in green baize and containing a mould, oil-bottle, powder flask, cleaning rod, later nipple key and tins for caps and lubricating compound
