A .577/450 MARTINI-HENRY Mk IV C PATTERN ENFIELD SERVICE RIFLE, no visible serial number, late 1880s, with 32 1/2 in. sighted barrel with inspection and proof marks, script on right side of receiver obscured by rust but 'ENFIELD' remains readable, full walnut stock, with sling swivels and clearing rod, many parts with Ordnance ownership and inspection marks, heavily rusted, barrel reblued, stock repaired with several wooden inlays, butt sanded
