BIRMINGHAM.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, Anson & Deeley 1875 patent treble-grip boxlock action, patent use number 1704, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and acanthus scroll engraving, 13 5/8in. stock smashed through and repaired at hand, fore-end with J. Blanch & Son improved snap bolt release catch
