made by North America Firearms Company, Philadelphia circa 1867, with blued slide forwards barrel marked on the left side 'WILLIAMSON'S PAT OCT 2 1866 NEW YORK' and engraved American scrolls at muzzle, the breech with further scrolls, a starburst and with an arrow to the sighting plane, nickel crescent fore-sight, gilded and engraved brass frame, walnut full-stock with chequered birdshead butt, guarded trigger with engraved bow and finial, complete with a possible period percussion converter, strong amount of original finish to pistol
