A .357 (MAG) COLT SHOOTING MASTER REVOLVER, serial no. 341663,
made 1937 but one of 12 shipped by Colt in 1940 for the British Purchasing Commission and one of 43 recorded at COD Weedon in 1941, with round tapering 6in. barrel, blade fore-sight, maker's signature to top of barrel together with patent details to '1926', the left side of barrel marked 'COLT SHOOTING MASTER', solid frame with swing-out fluted six-shot cylinder and adjustable rear-sight, the top rear of the left side of frame with British ordnance marks, double action mechanism and factory chequered walnut grips, the whole a good older refinish
