circa 1930, with signed tapering iron 12in. barrel, later style thick muzzle-wall, flip-open breech with locking handle, black painted cast iron trolley with 'W.R.A.Co.' together with 'TRADE MARK REGISTERED IN U.S.A.' in raised letters and six-hole cast iron wheels, the barrel lightly rusted throughout, in its maker's pine box stencilled on the end 'ONE WINCHESTER TRADE MARK BREECH LOADING CANNON', the side 'MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.', the lid partially replaced but retaining original internal parchment label and external darkly stained marketing label
