TWO ELEY AND KYNOCH PROMOTIONAL ITEMS IN THE FORM OF SHOTGUN CARTRIDGES,
the first a cigarette lighter with 'ELEY-NOBEL' facsimile head-stamp, the red brick brown enamelled brass body drawing off forwards to reveal the lighter mechanism, traces of a gun maker's branding to the 'roll turn-over' (some paint loss), the second a 'KYNOCH'S PATENT GROUSE EJECTOR' 12-bore cartridge formed as a vesta case, the head also marked 'No. 2090', the brass body sliding open to reveal a tray for vesta matches, turned wooden tip in imitation of a roll turn-over, the dummy top-card marked 'KYNOCH'S SMOKELESS POWDER'
