circa 1900, with heavy round 26 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, border engraved slab-sided receiver marked 'MARTNIS PATENT' (sic) and with a crossed flags over 'B' trade-mark on the left side, cocking indicator and sliding safe on the right, chequered walnut straight-hand butt-stock, iron heel-plate, chequered walnut splinter fore-end, the whole refinished
