dated for 1888, with blued round 32in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, 'AMBERG' and crown markings to barrel near breech, rounded receiver in the white with model designation and date, straight bolt-handle, well refinished walnut full-stock with in the white heel-plate (well repaired crack to left side of wrist), blued furniture except for the bright stacking spike, the heel-plate spur marked 'B2R' over 'E118', all stamps crisp and legible
