A CONTINENTAL 15-BORE SIDE-BY-SIDE PERCUSSION SHOTGUN, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, probably Belgian, 30 1/2 in. barrels with rib engraved but heavily rubbed and unreadable, hammers and locks engraved with scroll-work, stock with wrist and forend chequering, plus a carved stag's head around the underside of the butt, heavily detailed white metal furniture including a hunter and dogs on the butt-plate, hunting goddess with dogs on trigger-guard, cherub, etc., butt-trap with lion on lid, worn and dirty, empty sling-swivel hole in butt, head of rammer absent, stock cracked at the tail of the right lock and behind the forend rammer pipe, base of butt-plate dented, both actions at fault
