circa 1865, with round 6 1/8in. barrel signed along the top in script, dove-tailed fore-sight, octagonal form barrel-mount with plunge ejector mounted to the right, fully fluted ten-shot cylinder with panels of scroll engraving over each chamber, border and scroll engraved open action with full recoil shield and hinged loading gate, spurred hammer with sighting notch to nose, chequered walnut bag-shaped grips (rubbed) with lanyard ring at heel and guarded double action triggers, the whole lightly cleaned
