circa 1863, with round 6in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, hinged frame with plain six-shot cylinder, selectable double action mechanism, the hammer with sighting notch to nose, one-piece smooth flared walnut grip with traces of a martial cartouche and an illegible name stamp, hinged under-barrel rammer, faint traces of finish with some blinded pitting
