circa 1845, with round laminated 44in. barrel, bead fore-sight, short sighting rib at breech signed 'TRULOCK & SON 8 DAWSON ST, DUBLIN' (rubbed), short broad top-tang with engraved starburst at the joint, moulded nipple bolster, plain bar-action lock stamped 'TRULOCK', slab-sided hammer (some pitting), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, brass furniture including heel-plate, trigger-guard, ramrod throat and original ramrod
