circa 1930, with 4in. rifled break-open to load barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, plain air-chamber lifting to cock via release catch on the trigger guard and with patent markings including 'HAENEL MOD 28, BRIT PAT. No. 277265', buckhorn rear-sight, smooth walnut grips with brass Haenel medallions, the whole retaining a good amount of original blued finish
