AGNEW & SON 12-BORE SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 7842, circa 1896, 30in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1956), the rib engraved 'AGNEW & SON. 79. SOUTH STREET. EXETER.', the breech-end with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking indicators, border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, bright finish, 15 1/4in. figured stock including 1in. wooden extension, fore-end with splits towards knuckle and losses left side edge, weight 6lb. 6oz.
