for 1980, 21 1/2in. unsighted nitro barrel with threaded muzzle and thread cap, engraved 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 13 PALL MALL. LONDON. S.W.1.' in bold gothic script and gold-inlaid 'RIGBY' an encircled '2' and '.308', the receiver fitted with a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40mm long range telescopic sight, serial no. 435236P, with neoprene cover, manual safety, swept-back turned-down bolt, hinged floorplate, triggerguard with acanthus scroll detailing and gold-inlaid '6321', blued finish, pistolgrip halfstock with pistolgrip-cap, cheekpiece, horn fore-end finial, sling swivels, 14in. pull including rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 9oz.
