A FINE CASED HENRY HUGHES & SON LTD., LONDON 702 PATTERN "HUSUN" NAUTICAL SEXTANT, serial no. 53731, brass three-circle pattern frame with Bakerlite handle containing battery for illuminated scale, micrometer drum and quick-release clamp at base of index arm, four green shades and three green horizon shades, the original fitted case in mahogany with maker's brass framed correction certificate, sighting tube, lubricating oil and two eye-pieces, the whole dated to 1947.
