LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, Holland & Holland patent semi-selective single trigger, Holland & Holland patent self-opening system, hand-detachable lockplates, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, fences relief-engraved with stylised acanthus motifs, the action and lockplates profusely engraved with bold acanthus surrounding game scenes of partridge and mallard, the underside with a labrador retrieving a mallard and signed 'D.S.', bright finish overall, 14 1/4in. highly-figured cast off stock with diamond grip, weight 5lb. 10oz., in its lightweight leather case.
