(67cm) nitro barrels with 6mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, gold-washed trigger, deeply carved acanthus engraving surrounding relief engraved and gold-inlaid scenes of hound and fowl, the right side gold-inlaid with a portrait of John Moses Browning and 'BROWNING GOLD CLASSIC', the left side with '405 OF FIVE HUNDRED', signed 'E. VOS.', 13 1/4in. highly-figured stock, slightly swept at comb and including 1 1/8in. wooden extension and 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, chequering with beaded and acanthus bordering, weight 6lb.
