A SCARCE .177 SINGLE SHOT TAP-LOADING AIR PISTOL, MODEL 'ABAS MAJOR' serial no. 1076
circa 1947, with 7 1/2in concentric barrel, the blued air chamber stamped 'ABAS MAJOR, the cocking lever marked ' REG DESIGN 845425' and 'A.A.BROWN AND SONS', the reverse with the 'ABAS' trade logo, smooth brown bakelite grips, pellet gauge to cocking handle (some mild pitting and light surface corrosion, mainly r/h side)
