A RARE AND UNUSUAL 25-BORE 'TWIN-LOCK' INDIAN TORADOR MUSKET,
circa 1830, with 49 1/2in. etched variegated damascus tapering octagonal barrel swamped at the muzzle (fore-sight missing), watered steel side-plate holding the flintlock mechanism with rain-proof pan and roller frizzen, scroll engraved hammer, additional central boxlock percussion lock operating off a separate trigger, standing notch rear-sight, matching watered steel side-plate on the left hand side, darkly stained figured wooden full-stock with carved steel barrel-bands, steel butt-cap, square-backed scroll-engraved trigger guard, pineapple finial, sling swivel, original steel ram-rod (wood-work with old repairs, one loss to fore-stock).
