28in. sleeved steel to damascus nitro barrels, ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip actions with Scott patent gas checks, patent no. 617 of 1882, use numbers 4716 and 4717, carved shell fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, dipped-edge lockplates, protruding tumbler pivots with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bold floral and scroll engraving, the lockplates with 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' in an elaborate cartouche, the undersides engraved 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR', retaining very slight traces of finish, 14 5/8in. stocks (No.1 broken through the hand) including buttplates, No.2 gun cast off, weight 6lb. 13oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
