LONDON' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. choke in all, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 15in. well-matched highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stocks, weight 6lb. 6oz., in a brass-cornered oak and leather case with Boss trade label and some accessories
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that shotgun 4202 was ordered May 1893 for A. Clive Bell, Esq. and that he subsequently ordered 4430 to match in May 1896.
