27 1/2in. (70cm) nitro barrels with 9mm ventilated matt top-rib and side ribs, high visibility fore-sight, over barrel engraved 'LUCIANO BOSIS BRESCIA', under barrel signed 'R. LUTEROTTI', 2 3/4in. chambers, Briley multi-chokes (with spares), hold-open toplever, manual safety with gold-highlighted 'SICURA' detail, profusely engraved with best bouquet and acanthus scrollwork, surrounding finely engraved vignettes of woodcock nesting and in flight, the fore-end decorated en suite and gold-inlaid with the Bosis crest, the underside and triggerplate signed with the cypher 'P. INC.', bright finish overall, 14 3/8in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with inlet cheekpad and including tapered rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 15oz., in its lightweight Nizzoli leather case with some accessories, including spare mainsprings and strikers
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was sold on 27th August 2001 and that the engraver was Pietro Parravicini.
