open ball-race with bronze bearings, 'rod in hand' trademark, enclosed oval logo and straightline logo, 1896 check, pierced full-length brass foot, strap-over rim tension control with turk's head locking nut, straight pillars to caged frame (historic crack and repair), dished spool face with small and large sized perforations and nickel-silver locking nut, brass winding plate with ivory handle, in a fitted leather block case embossed with the name 'Charles. Hambro.'
