with 5 1/2in. barrel signed at the breech 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N', fore-sight modified by the addition of a dove-tailed blade, blued receiver, elevating rear-sight graduated to 1000 metres and marked '1' to '10' (dove-tailed rear-sight blade insert missing), long ejector-claw, blued firing-pin retainer, slab-sided frame with early style safety-catch, narrow radiused trigger-blade, integral 20-shot magazine with detachable floor-plate held by large spring-loaded button, 23-groove walnut grips with lanyard ring at base, the whole retaining the majority of its original factory finish (some holster-wear, bone-blued parts faded with some discolouration) TOGETHER WITH its matching number wooden holster-stock with large ribbed release button (two splits and small losses)
