28in. nitro chopperlump barrels, rib engraved 'B.S.A. GUNS LTD. ENGLAND' and piled arms trademark, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, carved fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, acanthus border and scroll engraving, lockplates gold-inlaid 'B.S.A. GUNS LTD.', the underside engraved with the piled arms trademark, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured stock, fore-end with Anson push-rod release catch, weight 6lb. 11oz., in a metal mounted vinyl case with faux fur lining
Provenance: The Birmingham proof marks indicate that the gun was proofed in 1985 and the gun shows very little sign of use
