AN ENGLISH BRASS-HILTED SIDEARM OF NAVAL TYPE,
circa 1830, with straight double-edged 23in. spear-point blade stamped on the left hand side near the guard with the makers name and a crown, brass stirrup hilt with rounded broad langets, turned down quillion and ribbed iron grip-piece, no scabbard
Other Notes: Lyndon & Wignall were listed as Sword, Cutlers and Toolmakers at Minerva Works, Fazeley Street, Birmingham in 1833. They had disappeared from the records by 1839
