circa 1973, with blued 4in. barrel, the left hand side signed by the maker, the right hand side stamped 'TEXAS RANGER S&W .357 MAGNUM', blued fluted cylinder, blued frame with special stamp on the right hand side depicting the Texas Ranger Star between the dates '1823' and 1973', colour hardened hammer and trigger, smooth flared wood grips, the whole appearing little used, COMPLETE WITH its wooden presentation case, the lid embossed with the same device as the pistol, the interior lined in crushed blue velvet and complete with a 'TEXAS RANGER 1823-1973' bowie knife only available in this set
