A HIGHLY RARE AND UNUSUAL SILVER PLACE-FINDER IN THE FORM OF A STYLISED POWDER FLASK,
made by Henry Aumont & Co. and showing London marks for 1905, of 2 1/4in. in height and hinged to the neck and base, the rim of the latter engraved with the Assay marks and 'ASPREY, LONDON' to one side and 'PATENT 20128' to the other, containing ten marine ivory balls marked 1 - 10 with the numbers six and nine in written rather than numerical form, the upper lid with plated internal 'cup' that when opened reveals the next 'peg' to be taken.
