circa 1800, with round 28in. barrel, carved band and tower proofs at breech, stud fore-sight, dove-tail top-tang, slightly curved and radiused lock signed 'TOWER' at the tail and marked with a crown over 'GR' forwards of the hammer, handrail three-quarter stock with squared comb, brass furniture including spurred heel-plate, the spur engraved 'LVA' over '12', brass sideplate with iron saddle-bar and replacement steel under-barrel ramrod (some small losses to woodwork behind top-tang and old repair to fore-end)
