26in. round barrel with matted flat top, cartouche engraved 'CHARLES LANCASTER', the right side with 'NON-FOULING SMOOTH OVAL BORE RIFLING', the left '.300CF', open sights with two folding leaf sights, marked for 50, 100 and 150 yds, bead fore-sight, non-selective ejector, brushed bright and blued un-engraved action, 14 3/8in. semi-pistolgrip stock, right hand side stamped 'AAD 131 55', weight 5lb. 1oz.
