Provenance: Manson began producing miniature lathes in 1946 and this early model was heralded as the "world's smallest lathe". It is a 'working' model but is intended as a curio rather than a functioning tool. It operates on 110v and comes with the correct voltage stepper unit. However, whilst the lathe is in working order, it carries no safety certificate and so is sold on the understanding that it is not designed for use.
