circa 1865, with swamped browned damascus 10in. barrels, the top-flats inlaid with 'I. ADAM KUCHENREUTER AN REGENSBURG', silver bead fore-sights, colour-hardened breech-blocks with florally engraved bands, platinum vents, engraved colour-hardened top-tangs with adjustable notch rear-sights via a key (missing), flat, florally and scroll engraved bar-action colour-hardened locks, engraved colour-hardened hammers, figured walnut half-stocks with chequered pistol-grip butts, floral carving behind the top-tangs surrounding central gold oval escutcheons, swollen pommels with central iron caps, colour-hardened trigger-guard tangs and finger-spurred bows, single set-triggers, plain fore-ends with carved horn tips, both pistols remaining in a fine state of preservation and condition with much finish and colour remaining TOGETHER WITH a walnut veneered storage case, re-lined in kid leather in the Continental fashion and retaining a number of the original accessories including a scissors mould, loading mallet and ramrod
