A 40-BORE FLINTLOCK DOUBLE-BARRELLED OVER-COAT PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably French, circa 1790, with round, tapering ribbed 4in. barrels, no fore-sight, sighting groove carved to the the top-tang, plain polished radiused locks (left hammer cracked), walnut full-stock with smooth bag-shaped swollen grip, iron furniture with long-eared iron butt cap, iron trigger-guard bow, carved finial and iron tipped ramrod
