A SCARCE 54-BORE FLINTLOCK ALL-BRASS TURN-OFF POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1770, with triple-banded turn-off smooth-bore 4in. barrel, cannon muzzle, scroll engraved squared boxlock action with central hammer, the action sides signed in a banner on the left 'BARBAR' and the right 'LONDON', private proofs, slab-sided walnut butt, iron trigger-guard bow doubling as the safety, exposed brass surfaces polished with some loss to detail
