(British South African Company) and the date, walnut three-quarter stock, brass heel-plate, the top-spur marked '"ZINGARA" No.15', brass trigger-guard, the fore-end with two iron barrel-bands, brass nose-cap and jag-ended iron clearing rod
Other Notes: It is believed that the "Zingara" referred to on the heel-plate was a vessel
