circa 1755, with two-stage slightly swamped possibly shortened 33in. barrel, silver applied boat-shaped fore-sight with punch-decorated surround, carved band at the intersection, the top-flat at breech signed 'BRADFORD', deep sighting notch to the top-tang, the tip engraved with an archer's trophy, flat bevel-edged step-tailed borderline engraved lock signed 'I COOK' within a border of naive scrolls, further archer's trophy engraved to tail, curved hand-rail walnut full-stock chequered in the Durs style of dot and chequers, inlaid silver wire trophy of flags behind the top-tang, silver monogrammed large oval escutcheon to wrist with engraved border, iron heel-plate with acorn finial to top-spur (butt chipped at toe), broad rolled-edge trigger-guard bow engraved with a further archer's trophy, acorn finial, pierced silver ribbon side-plate and turned brass ramrod thimbles (one replaced) with possibly associated ramrod
