27in. two stage nitro barrel engraved 'J. BLANCH & SON. 29 GRACECHURCH ST. LONDON. ".470 3 1/4" SOLID METAL CASE". "75 GRS. CORDITE 500 GRS. BULLET.", block-mounted open sights with folding leaf sights marked for 100, 200 and 300 yards and with white metal-inlaid sight lines, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with flip-up moonsight, Webley & Scott Revolver & Arms Co., and T.W. Webley patent action, patent no. 6365 of 15th March 1902, manual tang safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, action with fine acanthus scroll and border engraving, the left side with 'J. BLANCH & SON' in a scrollwork cartouche, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes and including 1in. rubber recoil pad, weight 10lb. 1oz.
