circa 1930, with blued 20in. barrel, ramp and dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, cam opening lever mounted to the left hand side of breech, plain blued air-chamber signed 'W.W. GREENER, MAKER, BIRMINGHAM', slightly flared trigger-unit housing, un-chequered walnut butt with saw-back pistol-grip, iron heel-plate and trigger-guard bow, rounded iron cocking-lever, the whole with much original finish under dried, hardened oil
Other Notes: Production of the Greener air-rifle commenced around 1902, with the earlier guns having conventional breech locking, as opposed to the cam-action. The gun offered here represents one of the last made and has one of the highest serial numbers recorded. Greeners themselves place total production of this model variation at around 600 pieces
