LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true and imp. cyl. choke, sidelever action, carved percussion fences, rebounding locks, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright finish, 14in. figured stock with engraved steel heel and toe plates, weight 7lb. 2oz., in a leather 'violin' case
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was ordered by J. Bruce Lane Esq. in 1882 and subsequently sold to G.J. Jathaner Esq. later that year
