BIRMINGHAM.' and the tubes engraved with scrollwork at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, scoop-back bolstered treble-grip action, tang-mounted automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rolled-edge triggerguard, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the bolsters with ropework, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. stock with inlaid drop-points, including buttplate, weight 6lb. 6oz.
