MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID-PRESSED STEEL', and with '1' and '2' at the breech ends, No.1 missing bead fore-sight, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, toplevers engraved '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, protruding tumbler pivots with cocking-indicators, replacement crosspins, best fine acanthus scroll and floral bouquet engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, the safeties, screw heads and crosspins with re-blued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stocks, swept towards central vision, cracked at hands, weight 6lb. 12oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case with serial numbered charges label and some accessories
