LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. 3/4 choke, carved percussion fence, arcaded standing breech, slender toplever, rebounding back-action lock, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplate signed 'CHARLES LANCASTER. LONDON. COLONIAL QUALITY', retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 12 1/2in. stock, Hackett patent snap fore-end with horn finial, weight 4lb.
