Continental, possibly German circa 1845, with browned 27in. barrel-group, the shotgun barrels with bead fore-sight and notch rear-sight, the rifle barrels with dove-tailed blade fore-sight and dove-tailed notch rear-sight, turn-over action released via an external trigger, long top-tang with an unusual 'wish-bone' rear-sight, back-action plain locks and hammers, walnut butt-stock with American style crescent heel-plate, trigger-guard tang with raised grip-piece, spurred trigger-guard bow and iron, probable replacement, ramrod mounted to the side of the barrel-group
