MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, arrow cocking-indicators, blued pins, fine bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 16 3/8in. figured stock including 2 1/4in. (well fitted) wooden extension, inked to blend, weight 6lb. 13oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case
