circa 1855, with re-browned 27 3/4in. slightly shortened twist iron barrels, the top-rib signed 'WILLIAMSON, STOCKTON ON TEES', engraved band and twin gold lines at breech, white-metal vented plugs, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'WILLIAMSON' (one hammer nose defective), walnut chequered half-stock (edges of fore-end chipped with repaired cracks), iron furniture and period ramrod; COMPLETE WITH a walnut storage case, relined and compartmented in green baize and containing a powder and a shot flask along with a modern cleaning rod, the inside of lid with reproduced trade label for 'JOHN WILLIAMS' of Stockton on Tees
